As the school year is quickly approaching , we would like to simply take the time to say “THANK YOU” to faculty and staff everywhere.
Thank YOU for answering the call to not only teach, but also to invest in all of the students. You truly make a difference in their lives.
Teaching is a calling. It’s not a job , but it is so taken for granted. We send our kids to school and you always take the time to take care of them and educate them.
So, today, we just want to thank you for the love that you give as you cover up embarrassment of a bathroom accident that a grade school student had.
Thank you for the lunch money that only you and the student know you gave.
Thank you for praying with them when you knew they were facing adversity.
Thank you for ride to the ballgame when they didn’t have a way.
Thank you for the unpaid time you helped them when they were struggling in algebra.
Thank you for teaching them about Jesus when it could have cost you your job.
Most of all, thank you for ALWAYS loving your students because sometimes it’s the only love your students receive other than Jesus.
We know you will receive a great reward in heaven because of the unconditional love that you show those kids every day by living your call to teach.
So today, if a teacher has ever invested in you (and they have) take a minute to say these two simple but powerful words to them by saying “THANK YOU”
We are praying for all of you this school year!! And, please know that even though we as a society take you for granted way too much, YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE by not only teaching your students to read and write , but most of all teaching them how to LOVE!
