Can you believe it? September is already here! 🍂 I want to wish everyone a very Happy September! I hope this month brings you lots of good things, good food, and good memories.

Now, I know the forecast is calling for rain tomorrow, but don’t let a little rain keep you away! ☔️ Come on out to the Brookings-Harbor Farmers Market grab your umbrella, stroll through the market, support your local vendors, and, of course, stop by The Dawg House! 🐾🌭

One of my favorite things about the Brookings Harbor Farmers Market is supporting all of our wonderful local vendors. ❤️ So while you’re at the market, please take some time to walk through and visit all the booths!

I get my delicious bread from Oh You Fancy Focaccia, and all of my yummy pickled goodies for the hot dogs come from Brookings Pickled Goodies Both vendors offer samples, so be sure to stop by and say hello! They’re located inside the church building, right behind the Dog House.

You’ve been asking for it, you’ve been missing it, and tomorrow it’s FINALLY back! 🥰

We’ll also have:

🍗 Chicken Salad Sandwich — chicken salad with pecans, cranberries, shallots, and celery, made with mayo and served on your choice of homemade focaccia or homemade sourdough.

🌿 Italian Garden Sandwich — one of our delicious favorites!

🐟 Albacore Tuna Salad Sandwich — albacore tuna with grapes, red onion, and celery. Absolutely delicious on either homemade sourdough or homemade focaccia!

I purchase my bread from Oh You Fancy Focaccia. Amanda makes THE BEST bread! 🍞 Stop by her booth tomorrow and ask for a sample.

🥗 Handcrafted Salads
• Chicken Sesame Asian Salad — grilled chicken, mandarin oranges, green onions, cabbage, mixed lettuce, carrots, and our homemade sesame Asian dressing.

• Roasted Beet Salad — available with or without chicken, with goat cheese, arugula, mixed lettuce, and our delicious blush vinaigrette.

• Summer Garden Salad — available with chicken, sugar snap peas, radishes, cucumber, carrots, feta, and Vidalia onion vinaigrette.

• Strawberry Chicken Salad — Chicken, Farm Fresh Strawberries and goat cheese on a bed of fresh crsip lettuce served with our delicious blush vinaigrette.

The Dawg House will be open tomorrow, Saturday, August 15th! ❤️🌭

I want to ask for your continued support, understanding, and patience as we get through a challenging time.

As many of you know, my husband is still recovering from a serious injury. He cracked his skull and broke his wrist and hand, so it has been a very difficult time for both of us. Right now, I am the primary — and essentially the only — person preparing and serving your food. Jesse will be there helping me by taking orders, but all of the food preparation and cooking is still being done by me.

I promise I am working as quickly as I possibly can to get your food out, but when one person is doing the cooking and serving, wait times can be longer than usual. I truly appreciate your patience and kindness while we work through this.

Your love and support have meant more to me than I can put into words. ❤️

💔💔UPDATE FOR TOMORROW: MY HUSBAND HAS FALLEN FROM A LUMBER STACK AND BROKE HIS FACE/ SKULL AND WRIST/HAND/
AND HURT HIS KNEE AND HURT HIS BACK AND NECK TOO. 💔💔 HE IS STILL AT HOSPITAL BUT HOPEFULLY HOME BY TOMORROW. HOWEVER HE IS MY BACK OF HOUSE HELP IN THE KITCHEN AT THE DAWG HOUSE SO I WILL HAVE MY ORDER TAKER JESSE AND ME ONLY. PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US TOMORROW.
