Join us at the library on Tuesday 7/8 for part 2 of our Locally Sourced speaker series: Brewing Local Beers! Mike Frederick, brewmaster at Brookings' Chetco Brewing, will go over the history and process of making beer--including foraging for local ingredients! Nonalcoholic samplings of their locally brewed beverages will be available as well. Doors open 5:00pm, with the talk starting at 5:15. See you there!

Celebrate independence with beer from your locally-owned independent brewery. We're open starting at 11am today with our Runner’s High 5k (show up at 10am to register if you haven’t already), or come welcome back the runners while enjoying a beer on the patio.
