Hello Brookings,

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Komi Tea House.
September will be our final month for service.

To answer everyone's question as clearly as possible as to why we're closing and not continuing Komi, we’ve decided to focus our energy on a new venture as we relocate to a new city.

After 2.5 years, we have decided to close our doors. Despite all of our hard work and the constant pursuit of our vision, we’ve reached the limits of what this space can provide. Moving forward here would require significant capital and a long-term commitment and after much reflection, we’ve chosen a different path.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to our community, friends, and family. You have been the true driving force behind our shop. The support, encouragement, and love we’ve received mean more than we can ever fully express. Every smile at the counter, every conversation shared, all of it gave life to Komi and made it more than just a cafe.

Goodbyes are never easy! especially to something that has been such a big part of our lives. But please know that we are excited for the next chapter and we embrace new opportunities, something a lot of you reminded us of. The memories we’ve shared here will not be forgotten, and the relationships we’ve built are everlasting. It's been an amazing opportunity to serve this community.

To our regulars! Thank you for choosing us and making us part of your routine!

To our boba kiddos, Thanks for making Komi the spot!

Be sure to come in and visit us before we officially close our doors! We'll be only serving our drink menu and a few snack items for the remainder of our time here.

Hi Brookings! Just a quick update on our schedule this week: we’re open from 10am-4pm today!

The rest of the week’s schedule is from the 27th-30th (Tuesday-Friday) 10am-5pm.
( Closed Thursday 29th )

We’re closed the 31st-2nd, Regular hours will resume on the 3rd.

Hi Brookings! We’ll be open for the Memorial day parade this Saturday! Swing by and grab a drink and enjoy the parade and mingle at Komi! ❤️

We’ll be serving our drink menu while the parade is live and transition to our full menu afterwards. We Look forward to seeing you!

Please note. We will be OPEN on the 26th Monday.
We will be closed May 31st - June 2nd. & back to regular hours on the 3rd! 🙂

Hi Brookings! We have a few updates!

Exciting News! We have revised menus!

We’ve made some updates to our menu, favorites have stayed. We also added some new items and we can’t wait for you to try. Yummy Bánh Mì sandwiches, hearty Bowls, cozy lattes, refreshing fruit teas and milk teas, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

A quick note for our fruit tea lovers: At the moment, we don’t have pineapple, grapefruit, or pomegranate, but we still have plenty of great flavors to choose from! The new flavors will be coming soon!

Good morning Brookings!

We updated our hours for the rest of Fall & for the incoming Winter. ❄️

Also we’ll be introducing a hot menu very soon. It will be loose leaf tea based for all the hot tea sippers. We will be posting about that soon. ☺️ 🍵

We have more exciting things to come next year. We can’t wait to share with you all.
