IT'S FRIDAY, FREAKY PEOPLE!!

We would like to take a moment to highlight an often overlooked, yet significant element to any Beach Avenue BBQ meal...the DESSERT.

Yes, we offer Savory flavors, often times leaving you with little room for Sweet, but our desserts are scratch-made by Bella each week, and we want to highlight them and the care that goes into them.

Our Banana Pudding has undergone a recent glow-up, and after months of perfecting the recipe, Bella hit a home run. Creamy, luscious pudding, just-crunchy-enough 'Nilla wafers, & REAL whipping cream will take you South to the BBQ shacks of the Piedmont & Hills & Hollers of BBQ COUNTRY.

Then of course, for you Chocolate 💜ers, the Mississippi Mud Cup...Fresh Chocolate Pudding layered with homemade brownies , REAL whipping cream & reimagined Oreo Crunch, SWEET, but not TOO sweet...a balanced and fresh take!

Finally, the crown 👑 jewel...Bella's been cranking out the seasonal poundcakes for a bit, and she hit a Fall Classic with the APPLE C***R POUNDCAKE.

On a recent RnD tour of the Turano Bread factory, we were hipped to their Pinsa Rustica, a par-baked flatbread, and we had some delicious thoughts...

Today we turn thoughts into ACTION!!

On Saturday, September 19th, @ 2pm, we are welcoming our dear friend and South Carolina Pitmaster and Master Fabricator, John "The Legend" Haney. That is not a nickname earned easily, but trust us, it is earned.

Mr. Haney will be bringing the flavors of the Carolina Low Country to Beach Avenue BBQ, where he will team up with Juan & Chin to slow-smoke a whole hog for a traditional pig-pickin, smoke his singular smoked mac n cheese, and create a unique perloo or hash, as it is called down South, combining many tradtions and ingredients that will absolutely boogie-woogie on your brain.

Come meet the man behind Alveron Smokers and Cookers, a trusted cooker for award-winning pitmasters and chefs across the country.

All proceeds from the pig pickin will go toward Juan's ongoing cancer treatment.

We began our day as a simple BBQ outfit, and returned home as CHAMPIONS!! 🥇

That's right! Juan & Chris assembled the frickin' SMOKY AVENGERS and we threw down @ the Sycamore Rib Fest to the tune of 1st Place!

Thanks to Sycamore Chamber of Commerce for having us, our guests in the window, & to all the other BBQ teams who were there . You pushed us to be our best. 🙏

We served 350 orders out of our main window, and another 75+ in our Rib Only line from 4-9ish...288 racks of ribs, 14 briskets, and a whole lot of fun!!

Come by the shop and get your photo taken with our RIDICULOUSLY large trophy!

We're open @ 11 am today for all your BBQ & Sunday Funday needs!
