I wanted to wait until after the service to make this post after seeing the reaction to the one I made last week to make sure the attention was on the officers and the families.
We are starting anew program.
Heros from the Heros.
I've been working with the lower windsor township police dept to send lunches to different places. Last week was the 911 call center. Today we will be making subs for the ICU unit. I reached out to some companies to make this possible. Martins potato chips is donating the chips, Rutter's is donating ice tea, performance foods has issued for credits to help with cost, and my team is making subs and salads. We will work with a police dept to send lunch to any business or organization to show their support.
At the same time the Heros for the Heros , will be going on. Amy officers can come in a get a free sub, martins chip, and Rutter's tea. Id like to try to keep this going for the rest of the year. As of now everything is sponsored or donated. We will keep building this idea up and hopefully be able to do this for long term.

At primo Pizza By Ryan in Windsor we will substitute a small ff until we get all the products in.

At Frey Daddy's At the mall, you can get any meal you would like.

And At ryans pizza, unfortunately my weekend crew no call no showed last night so im not going to be able to open this weekend now because I was already covering for some people at the mall this weekend. Im trying to get coverage.

On Thursday I received a phone call from a good friend who is also a police officer asking to place a huge order for the york county 911 call center. I told him id get some numbers together and give him a call back. I call my food rep from Performance Foodservice. Within 20 minutes he was approved to issue a large credit to my account to offset the cost. I stopped at White Clover Farm and they loaded me up with dessert and baked goods. I talked to my contact at Martin's Potato chips and got cases of chips donated. Long story short we got the order funded and was able to do 50 subs and a long list of other goods for FREE!!
So that brings us here.
HEROS FOR OUR HEROS
All police officers can stop by any location for a free sub, chips, and a drink for free.
This will run for the rest of September.
Any local business that wants to donate desserts or anything else please contact me.
