Sassy Crops is beyond excited to announce the return of our 2027 Scrap Pink Crop to beautiful Gettysburg, Pennsylvania! We’ll once again be gathering at the elegant Wyndham Gettysburg, a beautiful and classy hotel conveniently located near local dining, shopping, and everything you may need for a fabulous weekend away. Get ready for an unforgettable, pink-filled weekend where creativity, friendship, laughter, and just the right amount of sass come together!

So, what makes Scrap Pink a little different from your ordinary crop? For starters—the food! Our included meals feature delightful seasonal specialties that are certain to tickle your taste buds. You won’t find cold pizza or soggy subs here! We believe a fabulous crafting getaway deserves fabulous food, thoughtful details, and plenty of pampering. This weekend will be filled with class and sass, and your registration includes a full cropping table all your own, prizes, make-and-takes, free scrappin’ gifts, surprises, and so much more. And because Scrap Pink falls right in the heart of football season, Saturday is traditionally our Collegiate Day! Wear your team colors, show off your school spirit, and get ready for a little friendly sports rivalry—it always adds an extra dose of fun to the weekend.

Your weekend package includes dinner on Friday; breakfast and dinner on Saturday; and breakfast/brunch on Sunday. Pricing is based on hotel occupancy: Double Occupancy is $465 per person, Single Occupancy is $625 per person, Triple Occupancy is $430 per person, and Quadruple Occupancy is $395 per person. A $100 deposit is required to register and secure your space, or you may choose to pay for your crop in full when you register. And because we love adding a little extra sass to a good thing, anyone who pays in full at registration will receive a FREE paper pack of their choice at the crop!

Of course, being early has its perks! Our Early Birds who make their deposit or pay in full by October 10, 2026, will receive a special Early Bird gift valued at $20 or more upon arrival. But wait—there’s more! The first five people to register will also receive an additional First Five gift valued at $30–$40 upon arrival. Both groups will receive bonus entries into our Grand Prize drawing, so there are plenty of reasons not to let this one sit on your wish list for too long!

All registrations must be paid in full by August 10, 2027. Payments received after that date will incur a $50 late fee. Payments may be made through the In All Sassiness Shop, and personal monthly payment plans are available for Scrap Pink alone or for those who would like to combine their payments with the Shamrock Crop. If you join us after the scheduled payment plans have already begun, simply email [email protected] and we can provide a reconfigured payment schedule just for you.

Want to start the fun a little early? We plan to offer Thursday, September 30th as an optional add-on day for those who would love a little extra cropping time! This will be a no-perks add-on day, with additional details and pricing released closer to the event.

We understand that sometimes plans change. If you find that you are unable to attend after registering, written notice must be received at least 90 days before the event to receive either a crop credit for the amount of your registration or the equivalent value in Stampin’ Up! product, less $25 of your deposit, which is non-refundable. Cancellations made within 90 days of the event are not eligible for a refund; however, you will still receive the event happies and projects prepared for you. By registering for Scrap Pink, you agree to these terms.

And perhaps the most meaningful part of our pink-filled weekend is the reason behind it. Scrap Pink is a fundraising event, and funds generated from the event will be donated to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. So while we’re cropping, laughing, eating fabulous food, making memories, and enjoying all those little sassy surprises, we’ll also be helping support an incredibly important cause. Grab your crafty friends, pack your pink, and get ready for a weekend filled with creativity, friendship, class, sass, and heart. Gettysburg—we’re coming back, and we can’t wait to Scrap Pink with you!

Day 8: 25 Days of Christmas Sasspiration

It’s All About the Scallops!

Today’s 25 Days of Christmas Sasspiration card is all about the scallop—because really, who doesn’t love a good scallop?! This design started with a wide, solid scalloped panel, but I trimmed one side to a straight edge so those other three beautiful scalloped edges could completely POP! The panel doesn’t cover the entire card front, which gives the patterned paper plenty of room to shine while still letting those fabulous scallops make a big statement.

For the sentiment, I carried that same scalloped detail into a smaller coordinating accent—and added a technique that I am completely obsessed with right now: the layered torn sentiment! I tore both sides of the center piece, stamped the sentiment inside the torn area, and adhered it to the cardstock I wanted to use as my sentiment base. Then came the fun part! I ran the entire layered piece through my die-cutting machine with the smaller scallop die. The stitched detail from the inside of the scallop transferred across all of those layers, creating such a unique finished look. How fun is that?!

With so much happening in the focal elements, I wanted the background to be a little quieter. I chose a more muted cardstock and embossed it with a retired lined 3D embossing folder, then layered that onto a darker cardstock base to give the entire card a little more depth and impact. A knotted ribbon and a sprinkling of flat-back pearls were the finishing touches and—jingle bells!—this eye-catching Christmas card was complete!

This card is another fun example of how beautifully products from different collections and companies can play together. From Stampin’ Up!, I used the Secret Sea & Gold Satin Ribbon (168317), 2025–2027 Flat Back Pearls (165192), and Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies (168544), all available through my Stampin’ Up! website. From Close To My Heart, I pulled Sage, Harbour and Mint cardstock, Harbour Ink, and Holly & Ivy patterned paper from my stash, along with a retired CTMH sentiment stamp.

If this card has given you a little Sasspiration, dig into your own stash and see what you can recreate! Mix those old favorites with something new, play with your scallops, tear some paper, and make the design your own. And if you’re more of an “I-need-one-just-like-yours-without-all-the-fuss” kind of gal, you’re in luck—this card kit is currently available in my card buffet! Either way, this one was an absolute joy to create, and I hope it inspires you to make something beautiful today.

Day 7 of 25 Days of Christmas – Sasspiration!

Today’s Christmas Sasspiration is all about a card with a little movement! This festive interactive swing card was cut using Close To My Heart’s Artfully Sent Cricut Collection, but of course, I couldn’t leave the original design alone! I resized and altered it to give it my own twist.

The sentiment circle is the star of the card. I backed the berry openings with colored cardstock to really make them pop, then added the “Joy” sentiment to the center. A slightly larger cardstock circle was layered behind it, doing triple duty—it hides the cardstock pieces on the back, adds color behind the holly leaves, and creates a pretty outline around the original circle.

Since the patterned paper on the inside was a little too busy for a handwritten message, I tucked in another surprise! A slightly smaller circle in a lighter color is hidden inside the card, perfectly nested behind the sentiment circle when the card is closed. Open it up, and there’s a nice, clean spot for your Christmas message.

A few flat-back pearls and a small knotted piece of sheer ribbon were the perfect finishing touches.

Supplies used: Holly & Ivy patterned paper and Mint, Harbour, and Candy Apple cardstock from Close To My Heart, along with Stampin’ Up! 2025–2027 In Color Flat Back Pearls (165192) and Secret Sea Sheer Ribbon (166932).

Feeling inspired? You can recreate this interactive card on your own—or come make it as part of my current Card Buffet!

25 Days of Christmas – Sasspiration! Day 6

Day 6 is all about a simple card design that can be changed up in so many different ways! Start with a solid card base in your dominant color, then add three patterned pieces—a narrower strip at the top, a wider piece through the center, and another narrower strip along the bottom. Leave a little bit of the solid cardstock showing between each piece to create a built-in border and give the different patterns some definition.

For this card, I let the DSP do most of the work! I cut the center section directly from the patterned paper so that the design became the focal point. With a different DSP, you could easily change up this layout by adding circles, squares, die-cut shapes, or other accents to that center section. But this paper is so pattern-filled and festive that it made creating the card incredibly easy!

For the sentiment, I cut a simple banner using the Stylish Shapes Dies (159183), stamped it with my greeting of choice, and adhered it with foam tape so that it overlaps the space between the center and bottom patterned pieces. That little bit of dimension helps the sentiment stand out without taking attention away from the DSP.

Then came the embellishments! I added Secret Sea Flat Backed Pearls to the centers of two of the patterned stars in the middle section. For the third star, I added a small piece of knotted Real Red Stitched Ribbon instead. It balances the embellishments while adding just a little extra texture and dimension to the card.

Simple, elegant, and delightful, right? And one of my favorite things about this layout is how easily you can recreate it with completely different papers, colors, and embellishments to get an entirely new look!

For my card, I used patterned paper from A Stitched Season (168223), Peaceful Pine Two-Toned 12" x 12" Cardstock (167698), White Willow Cardstock (166703), Real Red 1/4" Stitched Ribbon (168235), Secret Sea Flat Backed Pearls from the 2025–2027 In Color Flat Back Pearls (165192), Real Red Classic Ink Pad (147084), and the Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) for the sentiment banner.

Want to make my version? The supplies can be ordered through my Stampin’ Up! website. And if you'd rather skip the measuring and cutting and get right to the fun part, this card is currently available in my Card Buffet, with everything pre-cut and ready for you to create!

25 Days of Christmas – Sasspiration Day 5!

Today’s Sasspiration is all about embracing those patterned papers! I love a card design that really lets beautiful Designer Series Paper do the work, and this layout definitely puts those patterns front and center.

For the foundation of the card, the upper piece of patterned paper is cut at a unique angle and positioned in the corner of the solid cardstock base. The same idea is repeated in the opposite bottom corner with a second pattern. Leaving a small border of solid cardstock around the outside edge really helps frame those papers and makes them the focal point of the design. I’ve found this layout works especially well when you pair one busier print with one that is a little more subtle. Two 1/4" strips of cardstock—or even ribbon—follow the angles through the center, creating just enough division between the patterns to give your eyes a little resting place and bring balance to the card.

Once the base is created, add a small vertical rectangle slightly offset to the left and overlapping the patterned papers. I chose White Willow for mine, but you could easily substitute another coordinating color from your stash. Along the left side of that rectangle, I added a fun ribbon accent. To create it, I cut a 1/2" x 4 1/2" strip of Secret Sea cardstock and adhered sheer ribbon to the front, tucking the ribbon ends around to the back. The cardstock gives the sheer ribbon a little extra stability, while tucking those ends keeps any fraying neatly hidden. It’s a small detail, but it gives the finished card such a polished look!

For the focal point, add an embellishment or accent piece to the center of the rectangle and pop it up with foam tape for dimension. Inside my accent is a smaller solid-colored die-cut in the same shape, and for the star, I simply cut it directly from the patterned paper. A few Secret Sea Flat Backed Pearls add dimension and, of course, just a little extra sass! You could easily add a sentiment to the front when recreating this design, but for my card I decided to keep the front sentiment-free and place my greeting inside instead.

One of the things I adore most about this card is its versatility. The patterns I chose certainly work beautifully for Christmas, but the overall design could just as easily become a birthday, thank-you, thinking-of-you, or everyday card simply by changing the papers and embellishments. It’s a wonderful layout to tuck away in your creative toolbox and revisit throughout the year!

For my version, I used Stampin’ Up!’s A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper (168223) along with coordinating Two-Toned 12" x 12" Cardstock in Secret Sea (166709), Peaceful Pine (167698), and White Willow (166703). I embellished with Secret Sea 2025–2027 In Color Flat Backed Pearls (165192) and finished the ribbon detail with Secret Sea 3/8" Sheer Ribbon (166932).

Of course, this Sasspiration can absolutely be recreated using papers, cardstock, ribbon, and embellishments you already have in your stash! If you prefer the exact supplies I used, you can order them through my Stampin’ Up! website at www.tonyasheridan.stampinup.net. And if you’d rather skip the cutting and get straight to the fun part, a pre-cut version of this card is currently available in my Card Buffet!

Happy Day 5 of Sasspiration—and happy creating!
