🌶️🔥 BRISTOL TAP CHILI COOK-OFF! 🔥🌶️

Think your chili has what it takes? It’s time to put that family recipe to the test!

📅 Sunday, November 1st
⏰ Contest starts at 12 PM
🏆 Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place!
(Although Riley Mongiovi apparently already has 3rd place wrapped up. 😂🌶️)

🌶️ COOK-OFF RULES

• You MUST sign up in person at the Bristol Tap.
• Bring ONE crockpot of chili, completely cooked PRIOR to the event and brought in ready to eat and serve.
• Bring any additional garnishes or toppings you want served with your chili.
• Come ready to defend your recipe and maybe a little family pride. 😏

🏆 HOW THE CHILI WILL BE JUDGED

Our judges will choose their favorites based on four major considerations:

🌶️ Presentation & Color: Does it look appetizing? We eat with our eyes first!

👃 Aroma: It should smell as good as it tastes and make you want to grab a spoon.

🥄 Consistency: A good balance of sauce and meat — not dry, watery, grainy, lumpy or greasy.

😋 TASTE: The big one! Judges will consider the overall combination of meat, spices and other ingredients. No single ingredient should overpower the rest.

🔥 Taste is the most important factor!

So dust off Grandma’s secret recipe, fire up that crockpot and BRING YOUR BEST BOWL!

And Riley… enjoy that 3rd-place spot while you can. 😂🏆🌶️
