Today is a special day. Today marked 6 years since Basil & Bunny’s very first event. We debuted at the first ever 🫶🏼This event will always have such a special place in my heart.
For my first event I truly had no idea what I was getting myself into. I had rolled all the Mmm Bop-tarts by hand, because I was too nervous to use a sheeter. Made a menu that was over ambitious. It was my first event and I was just so excited to share all my recipes and everything I had been working on. I grabbed two of my best friends to help serve food and just hoped you all would like it as much as I did!

Six years with so many lessons learnt, to sitting in an empty parking lot during COVID patiently waiting for orders in our food truck, so many hours in the kitchen, amazing weeks, hard weeks, amazing people. Building our cozy restaurant feels like a dream sometimes. I still can’t believe what we’ve accomplished in these 6 years. I truly love creating food for you. Thank you for letting me continue this dream🫶🏼
