After 40 incredible years, our parents, Sue and Po, have made the bittersweet decision to retire. Lee Po will be transitioning to new ownership starting April 1st.
When Lee Po first opened its doors, our parents could never have imagined what it would become. Many of you became more than just customers, you became part of our extended family. When answering the phone, our mother would recognize your voice and immediately know your order before you even finish placing it. And when you walked through the doors, she would already be handing you your order before even reaching the counter. Those small moments are the ones that meant the most, and they are memories we will carry with us forever.
While ownership is changing, the heart of what's been built here will carry on. The recipes, flavors, and dishes you love will remain, continuing the legacy that our parents created.
To the Bristol community: THANK YOU! Thank you for embracing our family, for supporting a small business, and for allowing Lee Po to be part of your lives for 4 decades!! Thank you for continuously voting for Lee Po in the Best of Bristol poll. These accolades meant the world to our parents year after year. It has been an honor beyond words.
If you’re nearby in the next few days, we hope you’ll stop in for your usual meal, share your favorite Lee Po memory, and help us congratulate our parents as they begin this well deserved next chapter. We are excited to finally spend time with them outside of the restaurant!
