Been too long since my last time in Rhode Island. I absolutely love coming here I just hate driving here. Sitting in bumper to bumper on 93 is the worst. But it’s always worth it once I get to RI. My buddy from Dough & Basil kept telling me to come to Bristol Sunset Cafe so I made sure to visit the next time I visited RI. To make a short story shorter, it was worth it. This place is immaculate! It’s been family owned since 02 and now it’s ran by my new friend Fabio Lopes who took it over from his aunt (I believe he said his aunt). He worked in here throughout his life, it was only right he took it over to keep it in the family.

The menu had so many standout items. It’s gets hard to choose but you have to go with those banana, chocolate chip & bacon pancakes. That’s their number 1 seller. The cornbread hash spoke to me. I love a corned beef hash but I never seen cornbread hash. I needed to try. Everything was beyond exceptional. This place is open for breakfast and stays open for dinner. I will have to make the trip again for dinner some time. Wow. Shoutout to Fabio & my guy Sal from Dough & Basil.
