Today is one of the hardest days of our lives.
After a lot of sleepless nights, prayers, and difficult conversations, we have officially closed our restaurant. This isn’t how we ever imagined this chapter ending, and it breaks our hearts to even write these words.
To our community: thank you. Thank you for every meal you shared with us, every smile at the counter, every “we’ll be back,” every recommendation to a friend, every kid laughing in the dining room, and every regular who felt like family. Thank you for trusting us with your meetings, school events, celebrations, and countless caterings over the years. Being invited into your workplaces, churches, and special moments was an honor we never took lightly.
Small businesses are the backbone of a community. They aren’t corporations with endless safety nets. They are neighbors, parents, employees, dreamers, and people willing to take a risk on something they believe in. When you choose local, you’re choosing families, livelihoods, and the heart of a town. We will always believe that with everything we have.
We are especially grateful to the sports teams, coaches, parents, and schools we had the privilege of supporting. From team dinners to fundraisers and community events, it meant the world to us to be a small part of your seasons, your hard work, and your memories.
We are deeply sorry to everyone this affects — our loyal guests, our incredible employees, and everyone who believed in us. This closure is not a reflection of a lack of effort, love, or care. We gave everything we had. Sometimes, even when you do that, the outcome still isn’t what you hoped for.
To our employees: thank you for your dedication, your hustle, your kindness, and your loyalty. You showed up on hard days and good days alike, and you made this place what it was. We are proud of you.
To those who supported us with encouragement, prayers, patience, and grace — thank you for seeing us as people, not just a business.
Though this chapter ends here, the gratitude we feel will never fade. This community changed us, challenged us, and reminded us what resilience truly looks like. Please continue to support local businesses, because behind every counter is someone giving it their all.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing Miles and Andrew Vance and Moe’s to be a part of this community. We will always be grateful.
