Raw Thoughts With No Edits or ChatGPT, so Please Excuse My Grammar.

I wanted to take the time to say this to my Bristol Community! Many of you all know that I acquired Bristol Scoops early Last Year. Since, then you guys have supported our shop and willing to try all of the new desserts that we have been putting out. As of last week Saturday, we have gone viral for our Jamaican Ice Cream Cakes that have brought customers from all over CT just to get their hands on them on Saturdays. Specifically, yesterday, we had lines out of the door and long wait times for ice creams. Yesterday, was unique because 100% of my staff took off to attend their Senior Prom! I was left alone to push out all of the orders. My brother, and his significant other and his son drove from NJ, to help me at the shop, not having ANY prior training. I will cut this short to say that I appreciate all of my loyal customers prior to this and DEEPLY APOLOGIZE for the long wait times yesterday. Those who have had actual conversations with me knows my heart and appreciation to all of you. Please bear with us, specifically on Saturdays when this is causing longer wait times. 🫶🏽🫶🏽Also, if you havent seen our previous post, WE ARE hiring. Gotta be able to keep up with the fast pace

I can’t believe that I am posting this!!

We are excited to announce that it has been one year since our grand opening! It has been a pleasure to meet so many new faces and reconnect with familiar ones—some of whom I have had the privilege of bonding with on a personal level.

While there have been overwhelming moments, my passion for bringing joy to everyone remains strong. Every business faces challenges, and I continuously learn from these experiences to find effective solutions.

To celebrate this milestone, we invite you to join us on Sunday, June 7th, from 2 PM to 9 PM. We’ll have face painters, delicious jerk chicken, and a variety of ice cream treats! I’m also working on adding more activities for the kids to enjoy.

Let’s hope for beautiful weather to make the day even more special!

At one point, a customer of Bristol Scoops herself, Lola took ownership of the location just over a year ago. A lovely wife, and mom of three, she recently moved away from the corporate world and has been enjoying serving our community the some of the finest treats the flavor palette can handle, on a full time basis.
