There she is folks. The last rack of American Made BBQ ribs are out the window, and tonight, and the last 4.5 years are over.

From humble beginnings in a tent with a handmade smoker made by my son and one of my brothers, to a fully certified mobile food establishment with a commercial stick burner.

From an unknown Virginian to winning awards in 2024 and 2025. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have provided you with my Virginia heritage week in and week out, and most recently 4 days a week.

American Made BBQ as an entity will continue to exist in some form or fashion, but as far as a food truck in Kenosha County, that time is over with.

Goodbye my friends!

Hi folks, me again.

I am not listing my smoker on marketplace. If any of my food industry friends need or know someone who needs a smoker to either expand or start their business, please reach out to me or have them reach out to me. Please only serious inquiries, the sooner she sells the better.

Happy Friday y'all!!

I hope y'all enjoyed your Thanksgivings with your friends and families.

Unfortunately, this post will not carry on those festive feelings.

Tonight at Last Ditch Brewpub will be my last night in business. Tonight I will serve half rack or whole racks of St Louis cut spare ribs until they are gone. No sides, no other option, just one more last night of the best ribs in the county.

After tonight's service I will no longer be in operation.

I would be wrong if I didnt say thank you for the last 4.5 years of sharing the food I grew up eating with you and your families. I have appreciated the weddings, festivals, markets, and of course the set up I have here at the brewpub.

In that regard, to my family at Last Ditch Brewpub, 2026 was our year. It was shaping up to be the bubble burst we both needed together and as separate entities. I look forward to seeing what you become. Having been a part of the planning and preparation for 2026, I know that your place at the top of the county is waiting for you and I can't wait to watch you ascend to your rightful spot.

Again, thank you to everyone for the last 4.5 years. I will miss cooking for you.

When you have fun with your food you create fun stuff. Tonight we have, buffalo ranch chicken sandwiches and steak sandwiches. Come out to see us at Last Ditch Brewpub. 5 to 7 or sold out, whichever comes first.
