For us, this fight is personal. Wally Boughton, one of the men who built Blackberry Oaks Golf Course, passed away from ALS just weeks after the course opened. Since then, more than $2 million has been raised and donated in the fight against ALS.

For us, the fight to END ALS is personal.

Wally Boughton and Gary Blocker were the men who built Blackberry Oaks Golf Course. Sadly, Wally passed away from ALS in 1993, just weeks after the course opened.
Following Wally’s passing, a foundation was created in his memory. Over the past 33 years, more than $2 MILLION has been raised and donated in the fight against ALS.
Today, Blackberry Oaks remains in Wally’s family—and every September, we continue his legacy. 💙
Throughout the month, join us at The Oaks Grille for ALS-themed drinks, our 50/50 raffle, Mystery Envelope Wall and more.

$3 from every ALS-themed drink sold will be donated.

💙 This is more than a fundraiser.
It’s part of who we are. It’s Wally’s legacy.
