No trivia? No tournament? No live music? No painting? No ridiculous competition we dreamed up three days ago?

Axe & Ale House: Your Home Base for Rhythm & Roots Weekend

Axe & Ale House sits in a unique spot during Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion—we’re directly outside the ticketed festival footprint, but right in the center of the action in Downtown Bristol.

This year, rather than operating as business-as-usual and competing with everything happening inside the festival, we’re opening our space to local businesses, festival sponsors, organizations, vendors, corporate groups, and others involved with Rhythm & Roots who may need a private, convenient home base for the weekend.

Located at 155 Moore Street, we may be able to offer:

Parking conveniently located near a festival gate and in the center of the festival footprint
A comfortable home base or hospitality space for employees, clients, sponsors, VIPs, volunteers, or guests
Indoor and outdoor seating
Customizable food and beverage options based on your group's needs
Space for private entertainment, receptions, meetings, or gatherings
Restrooms and an air-conditioned indoor space to get away from the crowds and weather
Flexible options depending on the size and needs of your organization

Whether you need somewhere to park and regroup throughout the weekend, want to host clients before or after the festival, need a hospitality area for your team, or have an entirely different idea, we're open to getting creative with the space.

🖊️ ATTENTION LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS: WE NEED YOUR PENS! 🖊️

You know those promotional pens with your business name, logo and phone number printed on them?

Bring ’em to us. Seriously.

Every week we host trivia with up to 70 people who all need pens. Then we have servers who somehow manage to make pens disappear all week long by handing them to guests to sign checks. 😂

We could go buy another box of 60 boring Bic pens…

OR we could use yours and help promote local businesses while solving our never-ending pen problem.

So, local banks, insurance agents, realtors, contractors, mechanics, attorneys, dentists, plumbers, shops, restaurants, nonprofits—or anybody else sitting on a pile of promotional pens:

DROP SOME OFF AT AXE & ALE HOUSE!

Your pen might spend Thursday night helping someone incorrectly answer a trivia question in front of 70 people. That’s the kind of targeted advertising money just can’t buy. 😂

No need to coordinate anything. Just drop them by whenever we’re open, and we’ll put them to work.

❤️ MONDAY = REST & RECOVERY

We’re closed today after an absolutely epic weekend, giving our crew a little time to rest, recover, and get ready to do it all over again.

And Bristol… we hope you know how much we appreciate you.

In the span of just one week, we had private parties, original face-melting live music 🤘, a family-friendly game night 🎮, packed trivia 🧠, great food, cold drinks, axe throwing and plenty of general shenanigans.

The coolest part?

So many different groups of people, from so many different backgrounds, have found “their place” with us.

That’s exactly what we’ve always wanted Axe & Ale House to be—a place where there’s a little something for everybody and you never quite know what we’re going to come up with next.

We’re turning the dining room into a GAME ROOM and making Axe & Ale House the place to hang out this Sunday!

🍺 “BUT DO YOU HAVE ANY NON-ALCOHOLIC OPTIONS?”

We’ve been getting this question a LOT lately, so we figured we’d answer it with a picture…

Yep. We sure do. 👆😂

Our NA selection has grown quite a bit, with everything from crisp, easy-drinking options to IPAs, hazies, blondes, fruity choices and more.

Maybe you’re the designated driver. Maybe you’re taking a break from alcohol. Maybe you don’t drink at all. Or maybe you just want a beer without the booze.

Whatever the reason, you don’t have to explain it to us. We just want you to have something good and cold in your hand while you hang out with everybody else.

So come throw some axes, play some games, grab some food and enjoy a cold one—alcohol completely optional.
