Yesterday was about so much more than art.

It was about a community coming together to support the kids and families of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and today we are truly humbled by what we witnessed.

To everyone who played a part in making our Street Art Competition a success… thank you.

A special thank you to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – East Tennessee for providing the St. Jude swag that helped us thank so many generous donors.

To our incredible volunteers who gave their time to set up, break down, collect donations, assist guests, and keep everything running smoothly—this event simply would not have happened without you.

To our amazing artists… thank you for your talent, your passion, and your dedication. You endured rain in the morning and heat in the afternoon, yet still created breathtaking works inspired by Roots of Appalachia: Flora, Fauna, Folklore. Your creativity inspired our community, and we’re especially grateful that each of you chose to donate your artwork for auction to benefit St. Jude.

To the Axe & Ale House team… thank you for embracing this event, working long hours while short-staffed, and serving our guests with the same passion and hospitality you always do. Your hard work behind the scenes made the entire day possible.

Because of your generosity, more than $1,200 was raised yesterday through $2 People’s Choice votes alone. That is an incredible testament to what our community can accomplish when we come together for a purpose bigger than ourselves.

The journey isn’t over yet.

All of the murals will remain on display at Axe & Ale House as a public gallery, and a silent auction is now open. Bid sheets are available at the bar, and 100% of every winning bid will be donated directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

If one of these incredible pieces speaks to you, we hope you’ll consider placing a bid. Every dollar brings us one step closer to our fundraising goal and helps ensure that families receiving care at St. Jude never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
