After 19 years, the Wong family is officially passing the torch at Billie’s.
It’s hard to put into words what this place has meant to us.
This one’s really bittersweet for us.
When the torch was passed to us years ago by the McDonald family, we were given the opportunity to carry on something special and we’ve done our best to honor that every single day.
What started as a small family dream turned into something way bigger than we ever expected. So many of you weren’t just customers… you became friends, and honestly, family. Billie’s has always felt like a second home because of you.
We just want to say thank you for the support, the conversations, the laughs, and for sticking with us all these years. It truly means more than we can put into words.
Now, we have the honor of passing that same torch forward. Billie’s isn’t going anywhere; it’s staying right here, just under new ownership, with the same familiar staff and faces you’ve come to know. We’ll still be around during the transition helping out, and we really hope you’ll show the new team the same love you’ve always shown us.
For our parents, it’s finally time to slow down and enjoy retirement (long overdue). And for us, it’s the start of a new chapter.
Brighton will always be home to us, and Billie’s will always be a part of who we are.
