Wanting to soak up the last days of summer with a beautiful, fresh, sweet treat? Check out this recipe 💕

LATE-SUMMER ROASTED PEACHES
with maple, thyme & cream

YOU WILL NEED
A few ripe peaches
A little maple syrup
A few sprigs of fresh thyme
A small pat of butter for each peach
A pinch of flaky salt
The faintest dusting of cinnamon
A little cold cream
Toasted pecans, if you happen to have them

THE METHOD
1 Take a few ripe peaches and cut them in half.
2 Place them cut-side up in a small baking dish and drizzle with a little maple syrup. Add a few sprigs of fresh thyme, a small pat of butter to each peach, a pinch of flaky salt, and just the faintest dusting of cinnamon.
3 Roast at 400°F until the edges begin to caramelize and the juice collects, golden and sticky, in the bottom of the dish. About 20 minutes.
4 Spoon them into shallow bowls while they are still warm.
5 Pour over a little cold cream.
6 If you happen to have toasted pecans, scatter those over too.

Hey friends!!!! 💕 I wanted to hop on really quick and give you guys some updates! You may have noticed I haven’t been posting quite as much lately, and there are actually some really good reasons! I also don’t want y’all to think I forgot about you, so stick with me for a little life update — both personal AND Cinn-A-Brew related! ☕️🥐

First and foremost… Cinn-A-Brew is busier than ever!!! We are quite literally tapped out at the moment while I figure out how the heck to scale a business. 😂 The growth has been absolutely incredible and I am beyond thankful for it!

This is also my first time ever building a business in this particular industry, so while I have a LOT of business-building experience, not all of it necessarily crosses over to a small-batch, scratch-made food business. I have also never had a business grow this quickly, so we are learning as we go!

We have had SO many people asking about online ordering, why we don’t have a website yet, Grubhub, DoorDash, etc. The reality is that because we are a small-batch, scratch-made kitchen, we are currently having a hard time keeping up with the demand we already have. 😂 I don’t feel ready to open up those additional doors just yet because we want to make sure we can do it WELL when we do. But we are absolutely working on figuring it all out!

If you’ve been in recently, you may have noticed we have two new employees — Elise and Lilia! ❤️ Training two new people is incredibly time-consuming, but these two are amazing and we are so lucky to have them. We are crossing our fingers they stick around for a long time!

On the personal side of things… I am a mom of 5, and my entire motherhood I have always said that I want my kids to feel like they are my most important priority. Since starting Cinn-A-Brew, there have definitely been some BIG feelings about the amount of time I’ve been away from home. It has been really important to me to find a better balance between Cinn-A-Brew, my salon, and my home life.

I truly feel like we are starting to get there, as long as everything stays steady the way it is. 🤞🏼

I have also been selling a house, which has sucked up SO much time and energy, but we officially closed today!!! 🎉 So that chapter is officially CLOSED and I could not be happier about it!

Still working on trying to find a home closer to Brighton… which, if you’ve looked at the housing market lately, you know is no small task. 😂 So for now… patience it is!

All of this to say… BUSY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!! 😂

So that is my extremely long-winded explanation for why posting has slowed down a little bit lately. I promise I haven’t forgotten about you guys! I am just juggling approximately 47 things at once and trying my best to keep all the balls in the air. 😂❤️

Thank you for continuing to show up for Cinn-A-Brew, support us, tell your friends about us, leave us reviews, share our posts, and just generally cheer us on. The growth has been more than I ever could have imagined, and I am SO grateful.
