Take a small peak at one of our daily prep tasks!

Every day our chefs arrive hours before the doors open to make fresh all the items we serve at dinner.

Being a scratch kitchen means that for every hour of dinner service there is at least two hours of prep time.

From pizza dough to focaccia to fresh soups, chopped vegetables, scratch sauces and everything in between, we believe in making our food fresh from the ground up so that we have control over every aspect of the dish.

Just like every business needs to have a mission statement, every restaurant should have a philosophy of food.

At Vita Momenti we believe the following:

1. Every dish on our menu should be the best it can be and any dish that we can’t stand 100% behind won’t be on the menu.

2. We believe portions should be abundant and filling.

3. We believe food should be comforting.

4. We believe in the science of food but also understand that the experience is just as important as the gastronomy of the actual dishes.

5. We believe the act of eating goes hand in hand with community and connection.

6. We believe in constantly improving our menu.

7. We believe it is a privilege to represent Italian culture through our food.

8. We believe in creating an environment where we do more than just serve food.

9. We believe in serving our communities through serving good food.

10. We believe in the power of sharing a meal with friends, neighbors, families, and coworkers. We believe community happens around the table.

What an incredible class this morning from Diane Swanberg on su***de prevention and how to become a peer support/advocate for those in crisis.

Being involved in the community is often more than just serving food or sponsoring Little League teams. Sometimes it is providing a safe space to learn the tools that just might save someone’s life.

Thank you, Diane, for your incredible gift of time, knowledge, expertise, and compassion in helping educate us about an under-served global crisis.

It’s been a little over a year since we took the leap of moving from Brier Pizza to Vita Momenti Italian Kitchen.

Change can be daunting especially in a small and opinionated community who understandably loves its history.

But we knew one thing for certain-“Brier Pizza” no longer represented the concept we had built.

A year later our restaurant has gone from serving primarily the small town of Brier to expanding throughout Kenmore, MLT, Lynwood, LFP, Edmonds, and even Seattle.

In a tumultuous climate for restaurants with beloved institutions closing after decades in business it can be an intimidating time to be a brick and mortar business, but rather than dwindle with the times, in the last year alone we have grown over 30% with ever increasing volume.

We have been able to double our staff, hire top-tier talent, and promote from within.

Thank you for trusting us with this beloved institution because for us it is more than a business, it is part of our home and our family story is tied with this town.

It has been and will continue to be a privilege to grow with you all.
