Sometimes the best seat in the house is right in the middle of the floor. 🍦🥹

This precious little customer took one bite of his Frozen Farmer ice cream, immediately sat down in the floor and just soaked it all in.

We have loved getting to know so many new Dewey families—learning your names, your favorite orders, and seeing you become familiar faces to us. And just as much, it makes us smile when our Home Farm families from Bridgeville find us at the beach, too. 🤍

Ryan has always been one of those faces that bring us such a big smile. Ryan and his family have become such a bright part of our days at the Home Farm Creamery and Farm Market, and over the years, they have become dear friends.

As a Christian, Jesus has lead me time and time again into faith-filled conversations across the ice cream counter and on the farm stand floor. That’s where I met Ryan’s sweet family and in their time spent at the farm, we have since shared so much about the seasons of life our families are walking through.

Getting out and about is not always easy for Ryan and his mom, Susan—but she does hard things every single day with so much strength, love, and grace. Seeing them make the trip to Dewey, visiting our new shop meant more to us than they know. Ryan and Susan even had their Evans Racing shirts on!

Right now, Susan’s husband, Shawn, is facing a very difficult and uncertain health season. Ryan’s care has always required so much of Susan’s attention and heart and now, alongside doctors’ visits, appointments, and insurance matters, she is making sure Shawn has the care and support he needs, too.

Please help us cover this sweet family in prayer tonight. We know God has them wrapped in His care, His plan, and His love.

As we begin planning another magical fall season at The Frozen Farmer and Evans Farms, we’ve been looking back at some of our favorite memories from last year… and there were simply too many special moments to choose just one photo. 🍂🎃🤎

From barrel train rides and trips down the giant tube slide to dancing along with live music, visiting our farm animals, searching for the golden pumpkin and enjoying warm cider donuts, fall on the farm is made up of simple, joy-filled moments we hope your family will remember for years to come. 🍂🎃🤎

Last year, we made so many unforgettable memories at The Frozen Farmer and Evans Farms—from watching little ones light up over our singing pumpkins to seeing families get seriously competitive at pumpkin putt-putt! 😂⛳️🎃

… and it’s that time of year again as we get the farm all dressed up and ready for fall!

There’s just something magical about fall on the farm: crisp air, pumpkins, cider donuts, pumpkin lattes from Harmony Hill Coffee Co. , sweet treats from The Frozen Farmer, family traditions and memories that last long after the season ends.

Just over here in my feelings …. Literal tears!

We hoped Dewey would welcome us… but we could have never imagined it would feel like THIS.

The people who have walked through our doors. The neighbors who have stopped in just to say, “We’re so glad you’re here.” The families who have come back again and again. The local businesses who have cheered us on. The hugs, the kind words, the packed nights, the conversations, the familiar faces already becoming friends…

You have made us feel like we belong here.

Opening The Frozen Farmer in Dewey was a leap of faith …and there have been some incredibly long days behind these doors that nobody sees. But then there are moments like this, when we look around and realize just how much love this little place has already been given.

And yeah… literal tears. 😭

From our family, our farm and our entire Frozen Farmer team: Thank you, Dewey!!! Thank you for welcoming us, supporting us and making room for our little farm family in this town.

We came here hoping to serve ice cream.

We didn’t expect Dewey to steal a piece of our hearts and for it to already feel so much like home. 🤍🍦🌊
