🚨Benefit for Knox🚨

We are a week away! If you signed up to donate items, please have them to us by Saturday, or they can be dropped off Sunday morning at the Legion. We will be there at 10:00 to start setting up. We are still accepting donations, so if you want to donate please message our page or call/text 618-544-1737! We appreciate the overwhelming donations and support for this event. We do still need buns and BBQ sauce. If you would like to donate those items please let us know. Please look at the original shared event below if you want to donate.

As most of you know, Knox was in a swimming accident and suffered severe life altering injuries. He suffered a C5 neck fracture and is unstable. His injuries required surgery to fuse his neck with a metal cage, plate, bolts and screws. He will be in the hospital for at least a week and then weeks or months in spinal cord injury rehabilitation to be able to walk again. He has an extremely long road to recovery ahead of him. Almost losing Knox has been hard on his family and added financial stress will be just as hard. With permission and speaking to his mom today, Adamson Boys BBQ will be putting on a benefit and silent auction August 23rd at the American Legion in Lawrenceville. Meal is dine in or carry out! Music will be provided and adults beverages are available at the bar. ALL proceeds go directly to the family of Knox Pritchard. We are donating all of our time, service and equipment. 🚨FREE Swim Night🚨

Head over to Lawrenceville City Pool tomorrow evening for FREE swim night! Weather looks absolutely beautiful! With all the heartbreak happening this past weekend, it would be nice to see our county come together for a fun evening at the pool! Bring the whole family out and enjoy a nice evening. Justin Akers and Addison Hunt are singing for tips and donating every penny to the family of Knox Pritchard! Show up big for them! We will be slinging the food all evening until we run out!

Just a quick update on the planned benefit we posted yesterday. The benefit posted is for Knox Pritchard. We will be working on one for the other family as well but only with their permission. Please respect their privacy at this time! They are grieving and have a lot on their plates. They don’t need bombarded with a million questions or seeing people argue and speculate on Facebook. The two situations are extremely different. One is coming, just relax and give them their time and space.

We are deeply saddened by the tragedy that has struck Lawrence County. Our hearts are broken for the families, friends, first responders and everyone affected by this tragedy. As we sit here today, we are reminded that life is so precious and can change in the blink of an eye. No one is promised tomorrow. It hurts, and cuts deep. Our community is hurting and needs everyone to come together as we have many times before. Please take time to tell your loved ones, friends and people in your life how much you love them. If you see someone hurting, please lift them up. If anyone needs anything at all, please feel free to contact us. We are thinking about and praying for everyone affected. We love you all!
