Frosty fans, I’m not gonna lie. I’m pretty bummed out about this weekend. Wind, rain, cold, everything that is super yuck about the beginning of fall. But there are a few bright sides.
-We’ve turned online ordering back on so you don’t even have to leave your house if you want to Stay Frosty!
-I’m still making big ass cinnamon buns because I would never take that away from you.
-It should give us some time to film some new content that makes you giggle.
-As of now the Kings Head Regatta will still be happening on Sunday- so we will be opening at 10 AM with breakfast and lunch options!

But I understand if you wanna swing by today while the beautiful sun is shining and it’s warm and dry. And I appreciate everyone that battles the weather and comes out and sees us this weekend. It can suck being outside service only but it comes with its benefits, there’s always a beautiful view just a few steps away.

Hey Frosty fans! It’s kind of crazy how fast this time has gone and now we will be opening back up tomorrow! And of course we will have some fall weather to greet us for our updated menu. I’m still working out the final kinks on some sundaes, but Bassetts was by yesterday and dropped off all of our new flavors! We’ve never kept on this many flavors in the fall, so we’re trying to not overwhelm you with too many delicious options. But it’s hard when everything is so good. Decorations are starting to go up and Haunted Falls will be in full effect by next week. We will continue our Friday evenings with 2 Scoops the Clown paired with Dollar Dog Fri-YAY in October. Frosty fans this is it- the day you have been waiting for. BLIND BAG DAY! So here’s what you should know if this will be your first blind bag experience.
-You can begin lining up at 3:30 starting at the register window and down the ramp.
-There is now a limit of 2 bags per person.
-Once we are sold out we will be closing.
-I will not be posting a final bag count this time, but I can tell you with confidence that we will have 20+ bags.
-Only 1 bag will have a $50 gift card in it.

I can’t believe we’re here, the last day of our 2026 summer season. It’s very bittersweet. I absolutely love all the sights, smells and tastes of fall. But I am committed to summer. I live for summer. And to watch as her warm comforting light starts to drift away, I’m still sad it’s over. So if summer is also your thing, I hope to see you today to get one last lick in before the Pumpkin King takes over our menu.
Let me take another opportunity to thank you all for an amazing season. I hope that the staff and I have lived up to all your expectations and all of the hype. We don’t keep winning awards because we’re making up that we’re good, we earned our place by working the hardest at bringing you the best ice cream creations ever. Ironically enough, I had a shift at Dairy Queen on 9/11/2001. The owner’s husband worked at an office building in Newark, but he often traveled between that location and the office they had in Tower 1. That day he was working in Newark. She was so distraught, we were only open for an hour before we closed. She said it was out of respect for the lives lost. But I know that she was also overwhelmed with emotions knowing her husband was on his way home and safe. When everything first went down, my brother and I could not get in touch with Susan, who was working downtown at the time. It was three hours before she finally walked through our door. Thankfully a coworker had taken her home, but getting out of Center City was almost impossible as everybody was panicking. Cell phones weren’t working. So I had also felt that warm sense of relief, knowing that she was safe and at home. That’s a day that you just never forget. And we will never forget those who were lost as we hold close to the ones that we love. Some people just went to work that day and never came home. I hope that each and everyone of you make it home tonight. For those that you cannot hold in your arms please just let them know today how much you love them. So many goodbyes were not had. So many tomorrows taken away. All we have is right now, tomorrow is never promised. No day but today. Never Forget.

Hey Frosty Fans, I just wanted to thank you all for being a part of the best Labor Day weekend we’ve ever had. Beautiful weather, beautiful customers from all over, but most importantly the best ice cream. They say that this year we had the longest summer possible with the way that Memorial Day and Labor Day landed, but it still didn’t feel long enough. And now we are less than a week away from our Blind Bag Bonanza! That also means that as the week goes on, we will be running out of things. As the rain pours outside on the 5th anniversary of the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, I feel nothing but gratitude. It’s hard to believe that something as necessary and wonderful as the rain can turn into your biggest enemy in a moments time. I will never forget the trauma, the aftermath, the depression, the hopelessness, the pain. But I will always put the memories of hope, perseverance, community, love and success above everything else. I always say that I hope none of you ever know what it feels like to have everything taken away from you in a natural disaster, and I mean that. For me- I’ll never say that I’m glad that it happened, but I’m really proud of the woman who came out on the other side of the worst situation of her life. Every day I am given strength when lines start forming on the porch and people show up to show us how much they love us. I’ll never forget the smells, the sights, the losses. But I always remember the warm embrace from our families, our neighbors, our friends, and our customers. Let these pictures be a reminder that no matter what life throws at you, the skies will be blue again and the sun will shine. Never give up on your dreams. And always know how much I appreciate and love each and every one of you. Thank you for giving us so many opportunities to continue to do what we love, which is making sure everyone can forever

So we had to start this all over again since I got fired! But the place couldn’t make it 3 minutes without me so they rehired me immediately. The customers that we had were very understanding that I was a little wet behind the ears and I had no idea what I was doing. Fake it till you make it right? Do you wanna know what’s not fake? My scream at the end. I was being attacked and had no other way to defend myself. Sometimes it gets a little crazy in here, at least that’s what I’ve heard since it’s just my first day.

Sometimes that chocolate ice cream just looks too good. 😍😋 I chose Turkey Hill’s Dutch Chocolate as our primary chocolate flavor for many reasons. It’s perfectly creamy with a soft but firm texture. It’s great on its own or in the many sundaes we use it in. Yet my number one is chocolate peanut butter all day, every day. Hi Frosty fans! Today there is an amazing event happening across the street from us. Specifically on my street that I live on. Some of you may not remember the sights and smells of lower Bridgeport after Hurricane Ida descended on us. The devastation, the heartache, but mostly the salvation from all the help that we received to put back together the pieces that were washed away. I do want to take a moment to acknowledge one person. Heather Cosenza is hands-down one of the most selfless and caring individuals that I have had the honor of calling my neighbor for the last 16 years. Before, during, and after the flood she has never stopped being a beacon of hope during our darkest days. She organized a wonderful party to basically continue to flip up the middle finger to Ida. With Growing Bridgeport together by her side, they have put together and event that will ensure that the kids of Bridgeport will have all the school supplies that they need, a fresh cut on their heads and full bellies when they go to bed tonight. We have provided some water ice and drinks that will be placed within the event for everyone to enjoy. There’s also some awesome vendors that will be setting up. Even if you don’t want ice cream, come on down to Bridgeport and celebrate our victory of overcoming every obstacle that has been thrown at us over the last 5 years. This one is personal and I personally would like to also extend my middle finger to Hurricane Ida. Even though we talk about you 5 years later, you’re gone forever and we are still here standing. Good morning Frosty fans! These summer storms have been brutal for us, but today looks like the most perfect day to be outside. It’s our last Busy Business Person Friday, so if you’ve been waiting for the right day to come by-make today that day. It’s hard to believe that the kids are going back to school so soon.
