If you love our signature pizzas like the, oaks, Streeter or Speer, then you might be curious as to who, how and where they were created.

Meet Brent Speer. He is the “Father” of the Speer pizza creator. Brent might be the real life hybrid clone of Hans Solo and MacGyver. There is nothing this man can’t do or won’t do for his friends and family. Our friendship was born out of tragedy when our son Matthew passed. Our friendship has seen many highs too. He has done everything from freezing camping excursions to hunting gators to officiating one of my daughters weddings.
His entire family worked opening night at BPC in 2024. After that exhausting night we were hungry. Brent’s son Collier, concocted what is now know as the Speer pizza from the few remaining Ingredients we had left. The rest they say is history!
