There are some posts you never imagine having to write. This is one of them.
After 10 years of serving this community, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close the doors of Sip And Scoop California. Our final day will be September 18th.
This little business started with a cart, a dream, and a whole lot of hope. Somehow, it grew into so much more than we ever imagined.
Sip And Scoop became a place where kids grew up, teenagers got their first jobs, families celebrated milestones, friends met for coffee, and people walked through our doors simply because they needed a place that felt happy and welcoming.
It became part of our family.
The truth is, this past season has been incredibly difficult. I have been dealing with health challenges that have made it clear that I can no longer give this business what it requires while also taking care of myself. As heartbreaking as this decision is, I know it is time.
To every person who bought a scoop, ordered a latte, booked our carts or trucks, celebrated a birthday with us, brought your kids in after school, visited us at the farmers market, told a friend about us, or simply walked through our doors, thank you.
And to every young person who has worn a Sip And Scoop apron over the years: watching you learn, grow, find confidence, and move on to your next chapters has been one of the greatest gifts this business has given me.
We would love to spend these final weeks celebrating with the community that made all of this possible.
And on September 18th, we want to end the way we have always tried to operate — by giving something back.

Thank you for the memories, the friendships, the laughter, the celebrations, and the love.
We hope you’ll stop by before September 18th so we can see you, hug you, and say thank you in person.
This may be the end of Sip And Scoop, but what this community gave our family will stay with us forever.
