Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating floods in Nepal and neighboring countries. ❤️

Our Café 8848 team will be attending this candlelight vigil to stand in solidarity, honor the victims, and support those impacted.

If you would like to join us, we would be honored to have you there. Everyone is welcome. Together, even a small light can bring hope. 🕯️🇳🇵

Dear Pittsburgh Friends, many of us are very much saddened by the tragic loss of lives in Nepal by the recent unexpected floods.

While we all are figuring out the ways to provide direct, tangible support to Nepal to reach to affected families, BCAP has decided to host a candlelight vigil on Tuesday, September 1st to pray for those who are receiving treatment and care, to remember those who have already become the victims and to appreciate the people who are working against time in rescue works there.
Date: 9/1/26 (Tuesday)
Time is 3:00-4:30 PM (Please be there by 3:30)
Venue: HARBOR Shelter

Come with flowers (not candles) for you, and for others

STAND WITH NEPAL. ❤️

On August 26, devastating flash floods struck the Bhote Koshi River area of Nepal, causing loss of life, displacement, and significant destruction in affected communities.

Search, rescue, evacuation, and relief efforts are underway, and the need for support is urgent.

Café 8848 is inviting our community to come together and help.

If you would like to contribute, you can donate directly to the Government of Nepal’s Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
