Dear Brenham family, it is with a sad heart that we have to close the Texas Smoke Pit. We've been leasing these last two years with the option to buy the building at the end of two years. Unfortunately the owner thinks it is worth MUCH more than it is. For us to enter Phase 3, which is a new pit, deck and upgraded kitchen we would need to own the building. We will not put ten's of thousands of dollars into a building we don't own. Since our current lease is up we have to decide quickly. We will be closing at 5pm today. You will continue to see us at local festivals. Look for our big trailer. We'll keep you updated on this page. Thank you for your support of our business and family!
