5 days till the Kitsap Islander Festival. Gonna be crazy schedule this week so I apologize in advance.

Island Hut and The Village Event Center will be Closed on Tuesday Aug 4th. We have 2 private events we are hosting.

We will be Closed Friday Aug 7th & Saturday Aug 8th in preparation for the Festival. Our kitchen is at Max capacity for commissary use for our festival vendors.

If you're craving fresh laulau on Saturday you know where to find me (Island Hut booth) 😁 going in the steamer Friday night 😋

We have worked long and hard on this year's Islander Festival to showcase where we are from and what is instilled in us and more so why we are the way we are. 😁 From measuring, mapping, promoting, creating flyers etc and helping vendors get the right permits that they need to be part of this exciting day 🥰 we get 1 day you guys, to bring our yearning and missing of our home land and our cultural lifestyle to the new land that we now call Home 🏡. Wether priced out of paradise or just needing change, whatever the reason, You are not alone. So come on, come join us on Saturday Aug 8th at Pendergast Regional Park and find comfort and familiarity with others that understand. Come eat food you missed without having to pay the price of your first born child 😭😂 Come and take part of the beautiful music and dances of our cultures. Bring the whole ohana. All are welcome!
