Parents That Share Fundraiser this Friday night in Walgreen's East side parking lot ( across from Family Dollar & Als ), they still have tickets available your choice of Rib Tips, 1/2 Chicken, Pulled Pork Sandwich, meals come with 2 sides either Cowboy Beans, Mac & Cheese, Fries, or Dinner Roll ($10.00) plus we will have Potato Soup or Chili ($6.00) and for the kids Chicken Strips & Fries ($6.00 ) if you purchase a presale ticket your guaranteed your dinner but we will have extra for walk-ups too! For Tickets contact Lynne Budig or the special education office at LaPorte High School...this is a great cause it helps many kids the disabilities if you are just starting your journey with a special needs child or just want updated information Parents that Share has a facebook site you can join and also have guest speakers that come in and talk about the latest therapies, resources available, things parents have found helpful, IEP information. Just remember your not alone, many of us felt overwhelmed and needed to know where to turn and get answers and Parents that Share is a great place to start!

Awesome job Karen Maudlin and Walkerton PTO you are the first organization to reach the highest percentage of sales in two years! A big thank you to all the volunteers that helped throughout the fundraiser! And another great festival put on by the John Glenn staff and students...it's a long weekend but just knowing how many scholarships you will be able to award and how many minor organizations you helped will surely put a smile on your face GREAT JOB TO EVERYONE!

Come out and support the Madison Township 4H / Theron Langford Fundraiser this Saturday August 24th 4-8 at the Wyatt Fire station. This fundraiser will help with awards night for all the kids of Madison Township in 4H as well as help the Langford family with medical expenses!

Don't forget about the Cruise In at the Crossroads this Sunday, church services start at 8:30, 10, and 11:30 this is a huge event! They have had over a 1000 people attend in past years, so make some plans to share fellowship, check out all the classic cars and motorcycles and of course grab some lunch your choice of 1/2 Chicken or Pulled Pork Sandwich includes 2 sides either Corn, Cowboy Beans, Potato Salad, or Coleslaw for $10.00...walk around for a bit and finish the day with a piece of pie Apple or Pecan!
