Our Christmas Party Link is now live
We have been the place co-workers, clubs, groups, and families have celebrated Christmas for the last 9 seasons. Hosting Christmas parties has always been a highlight of our season- hearing the laughter, seeing the excitement, watching the gift exchanges- has just brought so much joy not just to those attending and celebrating, but for us, hanging out in the background making the food and doing the Christmas dishes after the party is over.
Since this is the last season we are open as a restaurant, it is also our last year to host Christmas parties. We would love to host you one last time.
We have always tried to make your Christmas event here at the Bee-stro festive by going all out with the decorations (without be gawdy, lol) and serving you on our family's Christmas China. Since Christmas is a time when you serve food you don't typically have throughout the rest of the year, we change up our Christmas offerings to be a bit more festive for your Christmas party.
This year, we have been doing a lot more catering requesting appetizers, so we decided this year to have a Grazing Christmas option in addition to our Down Home & Celebrating Christmas for lunch or dinner options. With the Grazing Christmas, you will be served a variety of small portion finger type foods that are a bit more "elevated" in presentation. This selection will be served buffet style so you can feel more at ease to "mix and mingle" with guests. We can also add in a punch or a hot Christmas tea with the Grazing Christmas upon request.
As I am typing this e-mail in the 5:00am hour in my recliner in our quiet upstairs living room, my mind is going back to all the Christmas's past when we have hopefully helped to "Make the Season bright". To be honest, as we look at closing down the restaurant portion of our business, giving up the holiday meals is the hardest. We know for several of our guests during the holidays, we have become their tradition and traditions are hard to break. We love seeing everyone walk through our doors, well, almost everyone ;), and hearing their laughter. But the laughter at Christmas just hits a little different. The kindness level is elevated at Christmas. Grace is given more loosely at Christmas. Christ can be felt more at Christmas.
