🎀 Brain Medicine (Adirondack bluegrass/punk)
Get ready to have your head examined when Brain Medicine takes the stage! Brain Medicine is an Americana string band and the brainchild of drummer turned tenor guitar player, Clinton Hoffman.

Formed in early 2017, Brain Medicine has been pleasing crowds both regionally and nationally, while perfecting their original brand of bluegrass with a punk mentality.

Hoffman’s songs are driven into full tilt by the rockabilly mandolin stylings of Will Frohlich, fast melodic banjo picking of Eric Matson, and the thunder slaps of upright bassist Kevin Cottone. The icing on the cake is Erika Babus’ snarky soprano, accenting the quick-witted lyrics and adding a layer of gin soaked saccharine.

🎀 Dylan Patrick Ward
Dylan Patrick Ward is a folk misfit from Vermont’s dirty south, known for his poignant storytelling and irreverent sense of humor.

Equal parts country-folk troubadour and indie-rock weirdo, his songs weave stories of outcasts, oddballs and people on the brink, and have earned him comparisons to great musical tragicomedians like John Prine, Randy Newman and the Mountain Goats.

🎀 Evocatives
The Evocatives are a New Hampshire based band creating original music with a collage of tones and themes. Their music blends virtuous guitar riffs by Ezra Landis with beats and bass by Owen and Walker Landis. Influenced by bands such as Groundation, 311 and Vulfpeck, this magical mix of intuitive, brotherly sound is complemented by the improvised tenor saxophone of Bruce Elliot, and poetic alto vocals of Jenn Bakalar.

With a groove that’s comfortable fluctuating from staccato jazz and smooth syncopation to thrashing ska and heavy metal, they draw comparisons to early No Doubt and Portishead while forging a unique sound that’s entirely their own.

🎀 The Sonntag Jazz Collective specializes in iconic jazz repertoire spanning from the 1920s to modern day. SJC honors the tradition of jazz by creating a sound that is both current and classic. With a mission to celebrate and preserve the rich heritage of jazz, the SJC is committed to delivering high-quality, engaging performances to audiences across northern New England.

All founding members of the collective are proud products of the Keene State College Music Department, where they honed their craft and developed a deep musical sensibility. Together, their dedication and musicianship have quickly earned them recognition throughout southern New Hampshire, leading to regular engagements at restaurants, bars, private events, and community celebrations.

Today, the Sonntag Jazz Collective continue’s to steadily build its presence across New England, captivating audiences with a unique blend of artistry, creative expression, and musical sensitivity. From an intimate cafΓ© setting to elegant receptions, their performances effortlessly adapt to the occasion, delivering a jazz experience that is both timeless and alive.
