Starting November 1, Local Flavor will not be open on Sundays and Mondays. Our new hours will be Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 AM–8:30 PM.
We’ve only been open a half day on Sundays, and some Sundays it honestly doesn’t seem worth opening. But more than that, I’ve felt convicted about asking our crew to work on Sundays when that may keep them from attending church, spending time with their families, and having a true day of rest.
I’ve prayed about this a lot, and the Lord has given me several confirmations that this is what we need to do. I believe when God puts something on your heart, you have to be willing to listen, even when it means doing things a little differently.
Our crew works incredibly hard, and I feel like this is something we need to do for them. It will also give them two consecutive days to rest, recharge, be with their families, and worship if they choose.
We are so thankful for every person who walks through our doors and supports this little restaurant. We hope you’ll understand and continue to join us Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00–8:30.

We’re trusting God with the rest. ❤️🙏

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33
