Good morning, fellow food truck and trailer owners. Be sure to research anyone requesting your participation and charging an event fee. I know the location this person contacted me about, and they don’t host food trucks or trailers. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see how far he would go—he sent an application, a Cash App link with a name different from the emails (never send money that way), and is still asking if I’m attending. The event is supposedly this Sunday, but he gave me a cutoff date back in August. Make some calls, check Facebook, and stay cautious.
