📢 Important Announcement from Screaming Kraken Brunch Shack

To our amazing customers, friends, and food lovers—this is a tough post to write. After an incredible journey serving up delicious eats, we are heartbroken to announce that this Wednesday will be our final day in business.

We want to thank each and every one of you for your support, laughs, and loyalty. Whether you came for a Nicky Boys Dream, a Tampa Cuban, or just a cup of Cafe Con Leche, you’ve been a part of our story, and we’re forever grateful.

If you’ve been craving one last meal from us, now’s your chance! Come see us before we close for good. Let’s go out with a bang, Kraken-style!

Kraken Fam, more bad news…

Today just isn’t happening. Our chef gave it everything he had trying to open, but he pushed himself way too hard and is paying the price. As much as we hate to do it, we have to close today so he can rest and recover.

We know this is last-minute, and we’re so sorry if you were planning to come by. But right now, we need to put his health first.

This isn’t just a business—it’s family. And y’all have always been there for us, just like we try to be there for you. Please keep our chef in your thoughts, and we’ll update you as soon as we can.

🥹Kraken Fam, This One’s Tough…😭

We never thought we’d have to write this, but after much consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Thonotosassa location. This journey has been incredible, and we can’t thank you enough for your support, laughter, and loyalty. You’ve been more than customers—you’ve been family.

While this chapter is coming to an end, we’re not done yet. We’re already looking at new opportunities in the Brandon area and can’t wait to continue serving you in a new home.

Our last day in Thonotosassa will be March 19. If you’ve ever shared a meal with us, supported us, or just enjoyed the Kraken vibe, we’d love to see you before we go. Let’s make these last days together count.

On a brighter note, here’s what’s cooking tomorrow:
Breakfast is our normal menu with the additional of some new items. All breakfast sandwiches will be served with fresh made potato hash.
❤️ The Tampa (Cuban) – A pressed masterpiece with house-made pork, dry-aged salami & Swiss
❤️ Media Noche – All the Cuban flavors you love, but on sweet bread
❤️ BLT Club – A classic, stacked high with crispy bacon
❤️ Chicken Caesar Wrap – Fresh, crisp, and loaded with flavor
❤️ Chicken Salad Bagel & Tuna Salad Bagel – House-made with love
❤️ Hot Dogs – Your way! Sauerkraut, slaw, coney, Kraken-style, plain, or bacon cheez

And as a thank you every lunch meal comes with a bag of chips AND a free soda through March 19.

This isn’t goodbye—just a “see you soon” as we find our next spot. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being part of our story. We love y’all.🥰

Hey Kraken Crew, we’ve been closed all week due to our chef battling his disease, and will be closed Thursday as well! 💪

This Friday, we will open. We will be sharing some news as well either tomorrow or Friday.

We’re offering a HUGE special on all of our sandwiches when we reopen. You won’t want to miss this!
