For those looking for an interesting new book series, consider ordering new book coming out by new local South Dakota Author. Written by H.S. Harding ( Heath Harding). Heath spent much of his young life growing up in Rapid City, SD, graduated from Jasper, MN, and returned to Hill City with myself and our children for past 15 years. His new book series, Beginning with “Operation Forgotten Spire” takes place in our wonderful Black Hills of South Dakota and mentions familiar landmarks that those of us in the area know. The art work for the cover is also done by Hill City local artist, Carter Sandven who currently still lives in Hill City with his wife, and our daughter, Hailey Sandven. Heath is a war veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, served 16 years with the 2nd 147th Field Artillery Unit of South Dakota National Guard, and is currently a High School school teacher, having taught Social Studies, Political Science, History, English, and had his Masters as a Reading Specialist. His first book comes out September 9th on both Barnes & Noble and Amazon. Hard cover/soft cover release will be soon along with some local book talk events. Please go on and check out his book and support one of South Dakota’s new authors and young artist.
