The DAR held a wonderful and insightful meeting at the Meade County Extension Office, celebrating two outstanding individuals who have made meaningful contributions to our community!

Gerry Fisher, with the Meade County History Museum, and Boyd Emmert, for his dedication to Buttermilk Falls, were recognized for their efforts in preserving and enhancing the history and beauty of Meade County.

We are truly grateful for these two remarkable gentlemen and their continued commitment to making our community a better place. Thank you to the DAR for a wonderful meeting and for recognizing those who make a difference!

Meade is so strong. We lost Karlie Haycraft, a good sweet caring young lady and great employee early Sunday morning. Please come out to our benefit fundraiser and show your support Saturday the 26th.

Come enjoy you a nice hot meal with us. Grab you some baked goods. And spend time with families.

All proceeds will go to Karlie’s young children.

If anyone wants to donate baked goods please contact Taylor Mitcham.

And please work with us as we are not fully staffed but we want to help Karlie’s girls as much as we can!!!
