This is an awesome event!!!

Greenleaf State Park will be hosting its 2nd annual Cardboard Boat Race on Saturday August 1, 2026. There will be a free hot dog lunch starting at 11:30 while supplies last. The boat judging will begin at noon and the races will begin at 1pm. Age categories are 12 years old and under/13-17 years old/18 years old and up. Awards will be given after completion of all races. There will be awards for best design in each category and 1st/2nd/3rd place for speed in each category. There will also be a Titanic award for most spectacular sinking overall. If you'd like to register a boat, you must contact the Park Office by 4pm Monday July 27th. The phone number to register is 918-487-5622. This is a free event and open to the public.
