Free Concert! Push this out and share the hell out of it! Saturday 26 of September 2026! We’ve booked a live band - SmoothPlay - to perform on the front porch of town hall from 6:00 PM to 8:30! Come join us for some good music, food, and drink. Sponsored by Mountain Mud Coffee Co.

Halloween party is in the plans….stay tuned for that.

Also, I want feedback and participation from side-by-sides. I want to invite as many as can fit in town. Get the word out. I’m also working with a local soloist to do another free concert in Oct.

I'm planning a few things over the next week. I want to do the following:

1. Bike Night
2. Car Show Night (In addition to the one the city is planning)
3. Jeep Night
4. Karaoke
5. Live Band

I'm looking for a reasonably priced live band to play on the front porch of Town Hall. Open to genre. If anyone is interested, or knows someone who might can play, message me so we can plan...all of this between 19 SEPT thru 30 OCT excluding the weekend of 3 OCT.

More merchandise is on the shelves. Locally sourced soy candles infused with Mountain Mud Signature custom scent. Stop by and check them out.

Also Isaiah Pruitt purchased the first Mountain Mud tumble yesterday before we could even unbox them! He’s very proud to sport his new tumbler in support of our business.

Couple of announcements:

1. We have our tumblers and car coasters in the shop. Thanks to the McDowell County CTC for making these. The young adults responsible for producing these did a fantastic job. They turned out GREAT! See photos below.

2. We will be back at the concession booth this Friday at River View. We have streamlined some of our processes to make service quicker in an attempt to reduce line wait time.

3. Breast Cancer awareness month is coming up, we are creating the “Ta Ta” drink, a beautifully crafted pink cup of goodness topped with a cherry. We also will be escrowing a portion of sales of those drinks to donate to someone in need of a mammogram. Beginning OCT 1st the Ta Ta will be available.

Our banners supporting the local high school are finished and hanging at the high school.

We had our first concession this past Friday. Not gonna lie…I’ve never had to work that hard for a dollar! Please show support to your local boosters, they do an amazing job! It was a learning experience for us, and I promise it will get better.

We were given an award for participating in the summer program through the state disability program.

Finally, the sunset picture was taken on my way back to Bradshaw after a very important meeting. That meeting will benefit many locally, stay tuned.
