This year we’ve got some exciting updates to Our Holiday Menu! We are offering two different Thanksgiving Meal options: a Thanksgiving Meal that feeds 4 - 6 people and an XL Thanksgiving Meal that feeds 12-15 people.

And we’ve also added several new Holiday Side options, Smashed Potatoes with Gravy, Cornbread Dressing and Caramel Apple Cobbler to our menu this year. All our Thanksgiving Holiday Items, including Our Smoked Holiday Turkey, are available a la carte.

As a military spouse, Maria knows that community, love, and support are so incredibly valuable. When she walked into MISSION BBQ for the first time 7 years ago, she felt all of these things in the atmosphere. Seeing all of the photos and patches on our walls really meant a lot to her and she knew this was something that she wanted to be a part of. Maria started as a Great Service Representative and was quickly promoted to Our Community Ambassador role. Three years ago, she earned a promotion to Regional Community Ambassador.

When asked what her favorite part of being a Community Ambassador is, Maria said, "Nothing compares to being able to care for Our Heroes, being there for them during the good times and the bad, lending my support in any way that I can. Meeting new people and building loyal long term relationships in Our Community is also extraordinarily fulfilling for me, I love our people and I enjoy every chance I get to show them that."

We are proud to have Maria on Our CA Team! She is one of the Shining STARS of MISSION BBQ!

Luke Fickell received a unique and highly sentimental item from his father, a scapular that Pat Fickell had carried with him throughout his time serving in Vietnam with the Marine Corps. Luke was crushed when he realized the scapular was lost when his bag was left behind during a weekend family trip and all that was returned was the empty bag. “I can’t imagine that I missed when I obviously turned the bag upside down and inside out and some way, somehow a couple days later the scapular ends up back in the bag.” His father’s perspective is clear. “That meant he was supposed to have it,” Pat said.
