Temporary Closure of Sofia's Restaurant and Exciting Transition to a More Intimate Dining Experience
Lakewood Ranch, Florida – 11/1/23 – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the temporary closure of Sofia's Restaurant. Following the recent passing of Angelo’s Father, it has been very difficult for Angelo in maintaining the operation of a large restaurant with all its intricate moving parts as he’s still grieving. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our valued patrons and the community.
Sofia's Restaurant has always been a labor of love and a cherished dream of Chef Angelo's. In honor of that dream and the promise Angelo made to his Dad, we have chosen not to permanently close our doors. Instead, we are excited to reveal our plans for reopening Sofia's in the Bee Ridge area.
Our new location will offer a more intimate and personalized dining experience, one that Chef Angelo holds close to his heart. In this cozier setting, Angelo will have the opportunity to continue crafting his amazing dishes with a personal touch. As both the owner and chef, he will be able to interact with our treasured guests, ensuring that every dining experience is truly extraordinary. Your satisfaction remains our top priority.
We understand that you may have concerns about any gift cards purchased. We want to assure you that all gift cards will be fully honored at the new location in Bee Ridge. Your loyalty and support mean the world to us, and we want to express our gratitude by ensuring your continued enjoyment of our cuisine.

We are celebrating October Birthdays as a FUN Fundraiser for our “Tree of Joy Program''.
