FEWD Tent almost became an actual kite tonight!

After chasing it across the lot like a runaway trampoline in a hurricane, im making the executive call to pack it up and keep the Tent (and the tacos) on solid ground.

​Mother Nature wins this round, so there will be no taco popup tonight.

​It’s that time of year again! Summer flew by, and the bright minds of tomorrow are heading back to the classroom this week.
​As our future leaders of America gear up for a big year of learning, we want to make sure everyone gets to and from school safely. Whether you’re driving, walking, or dropping off, here are a few friendly reminders to keep our neighborhood streets smooth and safe for everyone:

​🚸 4 Fast Rules for Back-to-School Safety

​🚶 Watch for Little Walkers & Riders
Keep an extra eye out on side streets and crosswalks during the early morning and mid-afternoon hours. Heads up, phones down!

​🚌 Give the Yellow Buses Space
Yellow flashing lights mean slow down; red flashing lights and extended stop arms mean STOP from both directions (unless separated by a raised barrier/unpaved median). Let’s give our bus drivers plenty of room to maneuver!

​⏰ Build in Extra Time
Traffic is naturally going to swell during school zone hours. Leaving just 5–10 minutes earlier takes the rush off your morning and keeps stress levels down.

​🚗 Master the Car Line Etiquette
Follow school drop-off zone rules to a T. Stay in line, pull all the way forward, have backpacks ready to go, and avoid quick U-turns or double-parking!
