The food service industry, restaurants, bars, purveyors, breweries, etc. are all feeling it. We invest millions of dollars on a dream…. In years past these were lucrative businesses that if run properly could give you a great return on your money and time. Unfortunately this is not the case nowadays. To spend an obscene amount hours away from your family, blood, sweat,and tears only to make a measly 2/3% of gross sales, is NOT worth it.
The individuals curating and running these businesses work harder and longer than you could ever imagine. And in a “blink of an eye” it’s a completely different business model, a completely different environment, and I can tell you from firsthand experience it DOES NOT work. Not with these input cost it’s just simple math folks!! Small businesses are the backbone of this country. They are the quintessential “American Dream”. They are closing at an alarming rate! Something has to change and now!!

Another end to an amazing business to add to the never ending list. 🥲🥲

What a ride it’s been! Ten amazing years, but all good things must eventually come to an end. 
Today we’re announcing our taproom is scheduled to close December 19, 2021.

Given the timing and terms of our lease renewal and ongoing Covid challenges, we have decided it is time to close our facility. But we're hopeful we will find another brewery to continue making the Due South beers you have faithfully supported for these 10 years. Production equipment as well as intellectual property, including brands and recipes, are for sale.

We’ve had a wonderful time working with our fantastic staff and can’t thank you, our customers, enough. You’re the ones that made all of this possible!

We’ll be open until December 19 and hope to have the opportunity to serve you another beer between now and then.

It’s definitely gonna be different this year without 🥲🥲
But we are working diligently on our new spot so next years celebration will be a showstopper!!! Stay tuned!!
