Today while serving, I glance over a see this picture. They are my Great Grandparents. They were the kindest people and one of the main reasons why we opened Family Traditions.

Opening a business and going through the changes and struggles can be disheartening sometimes but seeing them, reminds me why we do this. This to honor their legacy and serve people our family recipes and kindness.

Family Traditions is offering complete meals as well as customizable individual options, including turkeys, hams, sides, and desserts.

With November around the corner, we have decided to reimplement our Pay It Forward program.

How it works:

Whenever, you visit our food truck, you can purchase a meal for a customer in need. The meal ticket will be displayed on a board and whenever anyone needs it, they can redeem the ticket to pay for their food.

We want to help and support our community during this time.

These statistics show the immense need that is going to be evident in our state.

As of October 2025, nearly 650,000 people in Kentucky. received Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. This figure represents roughly one in every eight Kentuckians.

Family Traditions keeps our neighbors in our thoughts and prayers.
