BAD NEWS on Turkey this week. Our main order for Turkey this week was canceled due to no inventory.

We were able to get one pack but it’s not a lot. We will probably have a small amount available tomorrow and that’s all for the week.

Starting this Thursday in stead of turkey, we will have chicken leg quarters. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Another fun weekend on the competition BBQ circuit competing at the Madison Bbq Party KCBS. We had a solid cook and was lucky to hear our name called a few time. Even the non-call were just on the outside of top 10.

Our luck stopped at the comp and unfortunately the truck decided it was done working and broke down. Not sure what our week will look like yet being set up to the public. Have to see how long it will take to fix.

Reminder that today is the only day open for us and it’s a shorter schedule.

Location: 1751 Scottsville Rd
Time: 11-1pm - come early today as we will be closing right at 1pm to head out for a BBQ competition this weekend.

Special: limited amount of chicken leg quarters.

$1.00 hotdogs as well, while supplies last. All beef hotdogs

We decided kinda last minute to make the trip to Troy, IL for day 2 of the Smoke N for the Kids bbq comp. It was a hot one especially going basic with just a pop up tent and a few tables. Big thank you to Shiggin Ain’t Easy BBQ for letting me use their trailer to prep Saturday night and sleep on the couch in the AC. Also a thank you to Jason Halterman for picking up our ribs/pork and delivering to the comp.

We ended with a really solid cook and heard our name called a few times in a stacked field of 32 competitors.

Thank you to everyone that came out today for lunch. You all killed us today.

With that said: It’s really hot in the trailer and we are low on most everything. We are going to CLOSE at 2pm (Friday).

We have a big event tomorrow that we need to start prep on. You can find us at the Med Center starting at 8am tomorrow morning. Open to the public, free hotdogs and chips.

Tomorrow (Saturday August 15th), we will be at the Med Center for their 100th year celebration. Event is open to the public and we will be giving away free all beef hotdogs and a bag of chips while supplies last.

Only Fries BG will be with us giving away a limited menu offering of there wonderful fries. (While supplies last).

Ribbon cutting for their new High Street Tower will be at 8am and food to follow after ceremony. We will go till 11am or we run out. Cole early to beat the heat.

Last regular day of the week for us.

1751 Scottsville rd from 11-3pm or sold out. Might close early if it gets too hot and we are slow.

Brisket, Pulled Pork, Cheddar jalapeño Sausages, Pork Steaks, Pork Belly Burnt Ends and Hotdogs plus all the sides.

Watch for a post about tomorrows set up. We will be at the med center for their 100 year celebration with a few of our other food truck friends. (8am-11am to beat the heat). Free Hotdogs and chips from us while supplies last.
