These two. Celie’s finishing her last shift, and Reese is starting hers. I like to say that these two have have their own language (it involves a lot of giggling), and it’s been a pure joy having them on our team. While I’m so sad to not see them as often, I’m equally excited for them to start their big adventures and to see what they do in life. Hoping that my college-goers always want to scoop ice cream when they’re home on breaks, because they’ll always have a place on the dream team! Best of luck, Reese & Celie! I’ll miss your smiles, giggles, cute nails, lessons in what the kidz are saying these dayz, willingness to be ridiculous with me in reels, work ethics, and most of all, the sincere kindness that you show everyone. Let me know when you all are ready to be back on the schedule!

Y’all. I am not okay. Today is Taylor’s last day at Meltdown. She’s one of the few crew left that’s been with me since day one. Since before day one. She’s the one I turned my recipes over to, and that was really hard to do. But it took no time to see that I could fully rely on her to make all the things, and to uphold my high standards. I’ve watched her grow these four years…as an individual…as a ba mom…as an ice cream creator, and I am so thankful and proud that she was an integral member of my team. She helped my dream grow. She helped me grow. She helped our downtown succeed. And I can’t wait to watch what she does next in life. Thank you, Taylor, for making this such a sweet season.
