It’s been a moment since we’ve introduced ourselves and, given our new followers, I thought it might be fun to say hello!
Novel Blends got the keys in February 2019 but, due to contractor issues and that pesky pandemic, our doors didn’t open until September 2021. We are a family owned independent bookstore and cafe featuring new books with a small selection of high quality used.
Serving the best (in our opinion!) espresso, cold brew and coffee from Actual Coffee with drinks that hit every time. Retail bags of coffee are always available. We also carry Special Grounds and Catholic Coffee. If you need your beans ground, just ask! Chai, Matcha and teas served as well.
Our cafe serves baked goods from three different bakeries. Bremer’s Biscuits brings us wonderful goodies that remind us of home and childhood memories, Crunchy Mama Bakery provides the community with high quality GLUTEN FREE baked goods and is ALWAYS gluten free, dairy free and soy free and many times free of the top 8 allergens. Lastly, Novel Blends bridges the gap with both gluten free and good old fashioned treats (oh, those brownies!).
Everyone pictured above has and continues to play a role in our little store donating hours, ideas and tech support to keep us running smoothly. Not pictured is Tom who volunteers his time in his retirement days (thank you!!) and, most recently, you can stop in on Saturday morning and see Joe who ISN’T a family member but feels like one!
