🥳🥳From Lockdown to Bowling Green, KY Landmark: Celebrating 6 Years of Simply Ramen🎉🎉🎉

Six years ago, we had a simple but ambitious goal: to open the first locally-owned ramen shop in our community. We spent months planning, perfecting our broths, and preparing for a grand opening in March 2020. Then, the world stopped.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to put everything on hold. As the doors stayed shut, our hope began to dwindle. We wondered if our dream of serving comfort food to our neighbors would ever become a reality.
🙌The Leap of Faith
By late May 2020, a small window opened. We were allowed to operate at just 33% capacity. With broken supply chains and limited ingredients, we couldn't serve the full menu we had envisioned. Despite the uncertainty and the stripped-back kitchen, we took a leap of faith and opened our doors anyway.
👏Fueled by the Community
What happened next is why we are still here today. You—our community—poured in with overwhelming support. You showed up when we had the least to offer, and your loyalty allowed us to grow. As the pandemic eased and ingredients became available, we finally expanded our menu to the high-quality, handcrafted ramen we always dreamed of serving.
🎉🎉🎉Six Years Strong: An Anniversary Celebration
Today, we are proud to remain 100% locally owned. To say thank you for standing by us since that shaky start in 2020, we are going to celebrate back to where it all began.
From May 18th to May 24th, we’ll feature some of our Original Launch Menu and bring back some of our Favorites for one full week to celebrate our 6th Anniversary (May 22, 2020).
