B.B.U.

has a long history in the culinary world as a whole. We use slow cooking methods to achieve the tastiest dishes and we use the freshest ingredients to bring out delicious southern flavors done right. Most of our dishes are prepared from scratch (NO CANS) "We cut, slice and dice everything by hand, all vegetables are purchased from local farms". Every recipe begins and ends with integrity which is

the most vital ingredient in our recipe! We believe that our cooking has a wide reach; what we put out will come back to us, so we work hard to put out things we can be proud of. Our goal is for each taste to not only delight your palate, but also warm your heart. True happiness, we believe, is found in the soul. We believe that cooking “from the heart" is just as vital, if not more so, as cooking well or for a lengthy period of time. Food prepared with love just tastes better! These are the subtle differences that, in our opinion, that separate us and make any dishes prepared taste better. Our motto is "Food From The Heart." Kitchen isn’t just a restaurant or a place to go when you’re hungry, We are a family and
we wanted to create something special to empower local families to adopt a positive attitude
towards life and a place keep the communication between love ones open. We wanted to install confidence, respect, self-worth, trust and love to the community. B.B.U. preaches the words, Be yourself!’ This is a common piece of advice, often given
before an interview or a date or some other occasion when we need to impress someone. Sounds like a strange piece of advice, though. How could you not be yourself? Strange at is seems, we have been conditioned all our lives to behave according to other people’s expectations, to dance to
their tune, to let them pull our stings. The truth is that most of us – unless we have really thought about it and made an effort to change – are puppets, controlled by the world around us. We crave approval. We need to fit in. In many ways, this is just a characteristic of being human – we are social animals and need to fit into the group to survive. But this natural and healthy tendency has taken over our lives to such an extent that we are often paralyzed by a fear of the outside world and obsessed by how others see us. But what would things look life if you could really ‘be yourself’ BUT!!!! We wanna inspire those individuals who dare to be different- those who dare to dream,
those who dare to take a chance and those who dare to be themselves. Individualism is seldom
practiced today. People are scared to be true to their own self-identity. As each fights to be
accepted by their peers and aspires to emulate current trends, the pains of self-expression prove destructive and often equal rejection. Our restaurant focuses on exposing individuals of character who exemplify immense self-expression and creativity. It is our hope that their stories of success will rouse others to step outside the box of normality and achieve greatness. Our goal is three fold: to enlighten, to educate. We bring our costumers our thoughts, feelings and hearts on the issues that are going on in our world today. We choose not to just focus on compensation, but we chose to focus on love, family and a variety of issues affecting the diverse population creating our world. BLACK BUSINESSES UNITED!!!
