Saturday, Feb 21st, the Bowie Community Center is hosting the finals of the acoustic singer songwriter competition. Doors open at 12:30 and the event starts at 1 pm and it’s free to the public! We will spend our day there, as will a few other food vendors. Come see us in the community center parking lot - We will start serving at 8am.

Months ago we scheduled a family vacation for this week, but it was cancelled due to a venue issue. We could not have foreseen last week’s weather, necessitating closure for a few days. It wasn’t really vacation because we were trapped, but we were warm and safe and thankful. All that to say—we will be closed on Tuesday, Feb 3 to celebrate a birthday! The cake is from Candy Haven in Denton. I may need to make a dentist appointment soon.
