The Chamber is: BIG SANDY LODGE

Big Sandy Lodge began operations in 1930 when Finis and Emma Mitchell opened the original fishing camp on Mud Lake. The main lodge and several cabins were built by the Thomas family in 1950.
Thank you James and Chrissy and Big Sandy Lodge for nearly a century of providing a beautiful retreat!

TRAFFIC ALERT -- A wildfire has closed portions of WYO Highway 28 near South Pass south of Lander due to a wildfire. Unknown as to when the roadway will open back up.

Happy burger faces and our favorite owl dropping in to say: Give a Hoot and get up here for one of the best burgers in Wyoming. Thursday–Monday, the lodge is serving up good food, and the kind of moments you’ll talk about all year!

Big Sandy Lodge had an unexpected VIP this week… Hoot, the world‑famous owl with 127 movie credits, swooped in for a burger like it was his red‑carpet moment. Jeff, you made our whole crew’s day — hope you and Hoot fly back in for another burger before the season wraps up!
