March 3rd is Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day) in Japan — a traditional celebration where families pray for the health, happiness, and bright future of their daughters. 🌸

One of the most beloved dishes enjoyed on this day is Chirashi Sushi, a colorful bowl of sushi rice topped with beautifully arranged seafood, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune.

A festive Hinamatsuri-style chirashi featuring finely diced fresh sashimi scattered over seasoned sushi rice, served with warm miso soup.
